Roger Richards comes to Endwell United Methodist Church from his most recent appointment to the Tunkhannock (PA) UMC where he has been the Senior Pastor since 1992.Pastor Roger is a native of Waverly, NY and resided in Owego, NY until he started elementary school. He graduated from high school in Houston, TX and subsequently received his B.A. in Social Studies from Southern Methodist University (Dallas). He received his Masters of Divinity from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary (Evanston, IL). While attending Seminary, he served s Organist / Choir Director of Emmanuel UMC in Evanston. After graduation he served as Associate Pastor of First UMC in Cozad, Nebraska for 3 years followed by 3 years as Coordinator of the Loup Cooperative Parish in Scotia, Nebraska. He became Pastor of the Calverton UM Charge for 5 years after which he served as Associate Pastor of Vestal UMC for 4 years before moving to Tunkhannock, PA.
