On February 12th we will begin our unit on The Good Samaritan.
Through the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus teaches us to love God and other people. When we follow Jesus’ teachings, we show God’s love to other people, whether they live close to us or far away. Children will have the opportunity to explore the story of the Good Samaritan, experience being a good neighbor, and answer for themselves the question, “Who is my neighbor?” for Luke 10:27 says, ”You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
